In Rajasthan’s Goda, 17 child laborers have been rescued by child welfare teams!
Officials said the children were rescued by the efforts of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) officials who were working as child labourers.
Haris Kurupagahani, the head of this organisation, said that out of the 17 rescued people, 12 were under the age of 18 and were assigned to work from morning to night for a salary of Rs.3000.
It has been revealed that the owner of the saree manufacturing factory where they worked is from Chittapura area of Uttar Pradesh!
He has recruited the rescued children in their hometowns. Then he pitched a tent near the factory and kept them there.
CWC officials have sent all those rescued from the incident to their homes!
